A Successful Night of ‘Queervoyance’ for Neil and Lyn
Two openly gay mediums gave a demonstration of mediumship at a popular Brighton gay pub. The Queen’s Arms provided the venue – and a buffet – for what was advertised as ‘an evening of queervoyance’ to raise funds for the charity Sussex Beacon.
Mediums and long-time friends, Neil Payne, of Boundary Passage SNU Spiritualist Church, and Lyn Guest de Swarte, Minister and President of the Doris Stokes Memorial Church, also local to the Brighton and Hove area where the demo took place – delighted a packed venue on Thursday 12th February.
Rising star, drag queen ‘Spice’ hosted the event and sang songs from the shows to start the evening off, during the interval and also ended the event in high style.
Plenty of evidential communication was given to the satisfaction of all concerned. Landlords Andy and Mark are now thinking of having another ‘queervoyant’ event later in the year. Hundreds of pounds were raised – Neil and Lyn and Spice gave their services completely free.
Neil hosts a seminar at the Langford Hotel in Hove on Saturday 21st February (£25 including evening demo) where Lyn is tutoring in the afternoon, and the next day Sunday 22nd, Lyn is at Hove Town Hall’s Spirit of the Millennium Festival with her healers – and giving a demo at 4 pm. This is always and standing room only event for the Brighthelm Healing Trust.
